LeAnne Gillett


LeAnne holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas A&M University. Her work has involved training, mentoring and educating K-12 students and adults in higher education through a variety of teaching styles, techniques and strategies. Her mission is to ensure the children and their families succeed academically and professionally through her patience, passion and compassion for teaching.

Cole Appleman

Youth Program Coordinator

Cole is a Tahltan Nation tribal member who was born and raised in Alaska. He holds an Associate of Arts Degree, with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. Cole leads our Arts, Academics, Athletics, & Music Program (AAAM).




Marsha Madriaga

Para Educator

Marsha is an Alaska Native with an Associate of Arts Degree and over 10 years of experience working with and educating tribal youth. Marsha will be providing services to elementary students in the Arlington School District. Marsha takes the time to know each of our students and fits her teaching style to their needs, going above and beyond.



Sarah Reik

Homework Support Specialist


Sarah has a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and served in the Missouri Army National Guard for seven years. Previously, Sarah worked at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC where she frequently wrote news stories on medical, nursing, and graduate students there. She enjoys working with children of all ages and looks forward to working with them in and out of the classroom.




Julie Peters


Para Educator Specialist

Julie holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Montana State University and an Associate of Arts Degree from The College of Southern Idaho. She has nearly twelve years of experience educating youth of all ages and needs in both public and private settings. Julie believes that we create positive opportunities for ourselves when we become lifelong learners, and her passion is helping each student gain the tools needed for success. She enjoys spending free time with her husband and two children.
